The hotel is far from a 'Quality' hotel. The bedroom we had allocated for our stay had old furniture and an appaling bathroom with unclean tiling and old fittings (the shower in particular).
The pub bar offers basic food, its hardly an imaginative menu and quite frankly was not particularily well managed. Get more than 2 or 3 persons stood at the bar and the bar staff lost all sense of organisational skills meaning you had to say you were next in turn - you even have to go find your own cutlery which I felt was a bit low rent.
Breakfast service was better and the food was okay - the choice was reasonable as well. Reception staff are pleasant and helpful. The hotel is not one I would use again as it is distinctly lacking attention to detail with poor furnishings in the bedrooms and not well managed on an operational level apart from the reception area as I mentioned earlier. Poor value for money.
