The hotel was very nice from the outside and has nice grounds to walk in, the room wasnt as expected, it was nice but a bit dated in furnishings. our breakfast was included in the price. but dinner wasnt and we were asked if we wanted a table booking to which we not told the price. we expected to be a good price as the the room was, but We thought it was a little expensive at £32 per person, It was good food (a la carte) but it was a bit bit pricy in our eyes. would go back again but would eat at a restaurant nearby. |

We enjoyed our stay immensely; the food was excellent and the service too. All the members of staff we met were well-trained, discreet, well-mannered and pleasant. One minor "niggle"; the quality of the tea supplied in our room and at breakfast. |

Restaurant staff were reasonably well trained but young and inexperienced. |

Food was exceptionally good even on Table d'Hote. Only adverse comment was that they didn't have a draught beer in the bar. |
