The hotel was great and handy for the Castle and the Grassmarket area, but even though we got the hotel cheaper than it should have been it was still quite expensive. There are better value places to stay, but it was nice. |

The cleaning staff were obsessed with cleaning my room. We had actually booked for two nights 3 times i was asked did i need the room cleaned even with the do not disturb sign up. and when we left for an hour to get something to eat when we came back the room had been cleaned. I actually found that really really annoying. |

I booked this hotel for 2 reasons. 1) It was listed as 4* on the Laterooms website, and 2) It's located 0.7 miles from the centre. |
