our only reservation was the width of the double bed, it was very narrow.

Lovely area and grounds. Spa fantastic. However, if I had paid full price for this room, I would have been extremely disappointed. Room was on the top floor (in the roof eves), therefore had to stoop to get out of bed or go to the toilet. Shower was a mere trickle, had to use the ones in the spa. Breakfast was disappointing. Serving staff somewhat reluctant to serve you. Unless, ofcourse, they're trying to get you to spend more money by eating in the exceptionally overpriced restaurant. Do yourselves a favour, eat in Lyndhurst or nearby. The food is better and more reasonably priced.
