Generally it was lovely, however it did not say anywhere that there is a communal toilet. Thankfully i was the only guest but not keen on the idea that the loo is communal and not in the room. |

Marcus and John are the most welcoming owners of a hotel I have ever met. The experience is more akin to staying in a good friends spare room than being in a hotel. The rooms are a good size and the location is perfect (we could see the sea from our bedroom window) just along from the pier, in an area rich with fantastic restaurants and bars. There is parking which is fantastic in Brighton that close to the centre of the city, but only a few spaces so call them up to book one. As a base for seeing the sites of Brighton I think this is hard to beat, and the breakfasts are unbelievable and definitely worth getting up for. |

We had an absolutely lovely stay here. Marcus made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was just outstanding each day! The location of the accomoation is perfect - just far enough away from everything to be nice and peaceful but a short walk to everything. The only down side of our superior room was having to share a toilet - although we did have a shower and a basin in our room. |

Food was excellent. Service was impeccable, we actually got an upgraded room when we arrived and had our bag carried up to the room. A fantastic location if you want to be quite close to the sea and town centre but far enough away to get a good nights sleep. |
