Recommend this hotel if you are just looking for a base to sleep . The hotel was ideally situated for all major attractions. The hotel itself was clean and tidy, but easy to get lost trying to find room especially if had a wee drink or two! We were in Rms 18 which was on small side and had no view but bed was comfy which is what you want after a hectic day sightseeing and night of socialising. Breakfast was good, freshly cooked, but dont recommend evening meal, no choice, just had to take what was made, although as you had to book (& pay for) it in morning you knew what was on offer. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Special mention to Julie who provided the entertainment on Saturday night, even though she had an audience of only 9 people she could have been performing to thousands. |

although the room was clean and staff service good the room was extremely small for a double room and the bed was more appropriate to a single than a double |
