This is a stunning house in a wonderful garden . I think I drew the short straw as the hotel was preparing for a wedding during my stay . It is worth asking about the rooms before making a booking . Even though the hotel had only a few guests, I was given a small room at the back of the house overlooking a yard , kitchens and a portacabin . Coupled with the fact that there was continous noise from the cold room, air conditioning and extraction fans for the kitchen it made for an unpleasant first part of the night . 'First part of the night' as I complained and was moved to another room, to sleep and returned to the other room in the morning , not the best arrangement, but the hotel did respond to the short comings . |

The hotel was easy to find, and is sat in beautiful grounds. The hotel staff are friendly and efficient, and it was clean. Our room unfortuneately was situated above the kitchens, and generator, which was a loud background noise that goes on all night, also the kitchen extract fans which where on until late at night and from 7am. This was our only criticism of the hotel, so as long as you are not on that end of the hotel you should be ok. |
