Nicely located hotel Room was basic, but for £30 including breakfast, you wouldn't expect more. |

The hotel is located in a beautiful setting and the chalet style accommodation was ideal for our needs. Really comfy bed and clean rooms. Refreshments were topped up and towels changed during our stay. The hotel is ideally located for walking the Trefrew Trails, which start 100 yards from the hotel, and for cycling in the Conwy valley. Everyone was really friendly and the food was excellent, large English breakfasts and a good choice of afternoon and evening meals were on offer. We would definitely stay here again. |

The room was ideal for our family 2 adults and 2 children aged 9 & 11 years, very clean and a good size. The food was excellent value and of a high standard in the restaurant in the evening and they provide a childrens menu. The breakfasts were wonderful and they accomodated the childrens requests for variations with their breakfasts. The hotel is ideally based for walking/sightseeing holidays and they provide an excellent packed lunch on request. |

The main reason I would stay there again (or recommend it to a friend) would be because of the location. There are beautiful walks nearby, either up to see the falls or along the "cobs" or earthwork flood defences that run either side of the river. |
