A new hotel in London's famous West End where luxury is of the essence. All our rooms have been designed to the highest standards with beautiful en-suite bathrooms. Each room comes equipped with a mini kitchen including a refrigerator. We are located in a quiet street in the Bayswater area, so that after a good night's sleep you will be ready to stroll across nearby Hyde Park to go shopping in ever-trendy Knightsbridge, or go visiting and eating in Notting Hill and Portobello Road, or spend a night at one of the many world famous theatres in London's West End which is situated within easy reach. No sound insulation between floors and made worse by timber flooring - could hear every step of the occupants above. Pillows were pathetic. Bed very hard, quilt barely wide enough for two people. Receptionist didnt know how to work the credit card machine the hotel then charged me from card details provided to reserve the booking (without asking me to approve).
Hotel recently refurbished to good superficial standard but it seemed that cost cutting must have been applied to some of the things that make a real difference. Paid £105 for one night which I suppose is cheap for the location but wouldnt stay there again.

Nice clean hotel, friendly staff. Sat tv, good free internet. Small rooms, VERY stiff beds and cheap sleaping pillows.
Short walk to the tube, lots of good restaurants nearby.

From the outside looks like a traditional hotel in a traditional building, but once inside the furnishings are all pretty much brand new and very contemporary; brown leather tables, chairs, mirrors all with white stitching, splashes of chrome everywhere, so if you like modern interioirs, you'll enjoy this. My room was on two levels with a very useful kitchenette (2 hobs, microwave, fridge, etc). Very good!
