Our stay was very enjoyable. The Willows was smaller than we thought but the rooms were very clean and pleasant. Beakfast was good. The owners were very helpful. The grounds were lovely. The only downside was the cost of the taxis to and from York. Would love to stay again. |

lovely guest house beautiful setting ,good breakfast , only 2 slightly negative comments the room we stayed in could do with darker curtains for a better sleep and the towels were very soft but of a fleece fabric rather than toweling and they didnt dry you at all !!! but apart from that a very enjoyable stay liked the breafast on the landing gave the weekend a personal touch . |

Where this hotel is situated is easy access to york town centre, near two lovely resturants in the evening if you didn't want to go into the town to eat. Or if you just wanted to sit in the grounds of the hotel and relax , then superb gardens and lake. Really lovely place to spend a weekend would definatley be returning and recommending to friends and family |

Really pleased with cleanliness and the couple were lovely. Had lovely walk around the lake before dinner. Only downside to the stay were soft fluffy towels that don't dry you and a motion sensor light outside the window which came on a few times during the night. |
