The Old Mill hotel & Lodge is beautifully located by the river Avon, Bath's most beautifully located hotel, by the River Avon with lovely gardens & stunning views over the countryside.
The Old Mill is located on a site that housed a flour mill until 1907. Since then it has been developed into an attractive hotel with lovely bedrooms , all en suite, banqueting suites and a delightful restaurant by the river with a unique waterwheel feature. The banqueting rooms, restaurant and bars have stunning views of the River Avon and the beautiful countryside surrounding it. the picture is completed by the pretty hotel gardens, alongside the river, which is popular with rowers, boating enthusiasts and for fishing holidays. The current owners , are very experienced hoteliers and restaurateurs, the rooms, bars and restaurants have been totally redocorated and refurbished. Please note that the hotel has no lift.

This tranquil spot is only 5 minutes drive from the centre of Bath and is easily reached from the M4 motorway. From Junction 18 on the M4 motorway, it is only a 10 minute drive to the Old Mill. The Old Mill is the nearest hotel to the M4 motorway exit and we can be reached without having to make a difficult journey through the centre of Bath. The Old Mill has its own FREE private parking facilities. Getting to Bath by train is equally easy, being only 90 minutes from London. If you chose to arrive by train, it is only a short taxi ride to The Old Mill.

The hotel was easy to find off the M4 and well signposted. We felt the hotel was shabby and a bit depressing with the color scheme on the doors and corridors - dark green! and the rooms were dated and a bit shabby. In need of refurbishment. The food was not brilliant.

superb value for mony easy access to bath eithr by bus boat or taxi. saved on paking and hassle of driving in bath. would stay again. staff helpful and polite
