The hotel has great charm although I suspect it is going to be refurbished as things like plumbing need upgrading. Our room was fine, the bed comfortable. There was adequate hanging space and drawer space. The bathroom was large but only had a hand-held shower. The area of Wymondham is lovely and the Abbey is well worth a visit. The biggest problem is parking-or the lack of it. We had to park some way from Hill House Hotel which was OK for us but could be a problem for anyone with moblity problems. |

Room smelled damp and musty. Cold tap on sink dribbled noisily and constantly, could not turn off. Toilet seat was loose. Had to collect own toilet rolls and tea bags from reception because there were none in room. However with a small amount of TLC the hotel could be very good, It appears that in order to keep the price low many corners have been cut. |

No parking on site, which was a bit of a pain as i had a car with large trailer on the back. But was able to park down the road on a village hall car park, so no major problem. Large rooms, with slightly creaky floorboards - but it just added to the charm of the place. Great bed though. |
