Ascot House Hotel

Set in an impressive early Victorian villa, Ascot House is a family-run hotel which has recently been acquired by Bernard, a French expatriate. He is partnered by Janice, who is English.
The hotel has free, private, off-road parking and is most conveniently situated within a few minutes walking distance of Torquay’s Casino, Town Hall, Town Centre, sea front, marina and the Riviera Conference Centre.
All rooms have en-suite facilities or private bathrooms, hospitality trays, wall-mounted LCD TVs, wifi and, reflecting Bernard and Janice's respective nationalities, are furnished in either a French period style or with traditional Victorian furniture. Children are most welcome at Ascot House (see tariff for reduced rates) and a cot, child's bed and high chair are available on request.
The Anglo-French theme has also been extended to our extensive breakfast menu which includes fresh fruit, continental baked goods and home made preserves - in addition to our cooked-to-order traditional English breakfast using quality produce – all served in our sunny, spacious dining room!
