The hotel was hard to find when on foot and not walking from the direction of the station, and the reception staff weren't very friendly at all. |

A modern, clean hotel in quite a good position. Rooms are fresh, but compact. Bathroom was spotless and looked brand new. Breakfast is expensive at almost £10 per head, food in the buffet was plentiful, but not best in terms of quality - hash browns undercooked, orange juice tasted as if it was made up, not squeezed. Rooms for 3 are great especially as our 17 yr old daughter came with us, but let down by only having tea/coffee for 2 persons in a 3 person room. The same can be said for the bathroom - towels for 2 and not 3. The hotel is situated opposite the train station, but not so as you would notice from noise or congestion. Parking is in the train station car park and is very reasonable at £10 per day (£6 on Sunday). Overall, I would give this a 7 or 8 out of 10, let down by silly, minor things that are easily fixed. Absolutely love Brighton and would consider staying here again. |

Hotel was at the top of a steep hill which was gruelling when pushing a buggy!! We booked a "family room" but there was no fridge, which for a hotel of this category I would have expected as standard. |
