Well refurbished hotel. Made very welcome on arrival. Pub had a couple of good real ales. Indian food in restaurant just about as good as I've had anywhere. Ample and piping hot breakfast. Have no worries about booking here - it's worth the 20min or so drive to Scunthorpe. |

A little gem! Real ale and real curry! Excellent newly decorated bedrooms.Very friendly owners Ziggy and Karen.Easy parking on street outside this village pub. Easy access to Doncaster 30 mins by road but well worth the extra drive. |

Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. The room was cosy and very comfortable and the en-suite was 5 star with a huge shower, quality towels etc. The room had flat screen television with freeview and air conditioning. The Loco is a pub with large screen plasmas and on football night becomes busy but friendly. There is good security between the accommodation and the public areas and a key is supplied so that you can get to your room without going through the bar. There is a good choice of beers and the cusine is mainly Indian although he does offer English dishes. The food was of good quality with non residents also eating in the restaurant. There isn't much in the way of parking off street but then the village is pretty quiet so parking in the road is not a problem. The owner did offer up his space to me one night! |
