Radisson Edwardian New Providence Wharf

superb hotel, great position 5 minutes wark from dlr ( blackwalls) under the underpass, ovely rooms great service, what more can i say!!

The Azura restaurant is excellent in its setting and the quality of food. The hotel location is a little quirky but lovely to be able to look at the O2 and the Thames from their terrace.

Had a fantastic weekend at this hotel. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Very easy to get to and the views are fantastic

After a stay in another 4 star hotel the previous two nights this was a world apart.
First the bad things. Yes the O2 IS very close (we went there as we were attending a concert that night) BUT the fact is that there is no bridge close by and you have to get to it via taxi, which is easy enough going there (although still £15) but not so easy when the O2 is kicking out. We caught the clipper back and ended up in Canary Wharf, a good 20 minutes away and after getting lost at about midnight we ended up catching a taxi back!
No service at the bar in the morning, we asked for orange juice and nobody ever came back to us.
A £25 car parking fee was thrust on us upon arrival.
Getting past the above, this was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. This is a VERY good standard 4 star hotel and can't be too far off a 5. The rooms exude luxury as does the hotel in general. Being a fairly new hotel helps it in this case but it is still a fact.
There was a very busy road very nearby and the sound insulation provided by the windows and indeed the walls seperating the adjoining bedrooms in nothing short is incredible. You hear NOTHING.
We paid £116 for our room on a Sunday night and this was a bargain, although expect to pay a LOT more if going during the week as this is predominately a business hotel.
The view out onto the Thames is superb and the outside seating is perfect when the sun is shining.
Top notch hotel!
