terrible customer service from woman that barked at all the guests, as if she was doing everyone a favour. Only once I was more firm with her and threatened to report her poor customer service did she change her tune. shame though as place was value for money. |

The owners or managers were very nice people, very helpful. It took a little discussion before she'd change my room, though. The window wouldn't close and the T.V. didn't work. Whether I watch the T.V. or not, I'm paying for it. She moved me to another room before the other guests checked in and swapped them to mine. It was too hot, no aircon, not even a fan; very difficult to sleep. Didn't eat the breakfast, so I don't know. The photo made it look a little plush, but it definitely wasn't; it may have been at one point. She did say though that they purchased the hotel only two months ago, and will be refurbishing it. Very helpful people. They had an iron unlike some hotels. Why do these small hotels always put the towels on the bedspread? When was the last time the bedspread was drycleaned in these places? As I was leaving the hotel the next day, a manic Australian who seemed as though he and his partner had rarely travel were giving the lady a hard time about checking in; he was two hours earlier. Calm down! She was very nice to him, but he couldn't see that. I was reluctant to stay here, due to the reviews (which aren't always accurate, though) but it was the last resort. If the people hadn't been nice, then that would have made things completely ugh, but they were helpful. |
