For a small B &B this place had everything - from a really comfortable bed to small seperate lounge with fridge. River running no more than a few yards from bedroom window. |

What a great find. We chose this b&b to break up a long journey. Our hosts couldnt have been more welcoming. Quite a contrast from the bigger hotels we sometimes use. The breakfast is probably the best I`ve had in a very long time. Our accommodation comprised of a cosy sitting room with tea and coffee making facilities, small fridge. Very comfortable bed, fluffy robes etc. I would say the ensuite shower/toilet is compact - not a criticism, merely an observation. Will definitely stay again. |

A real home-from-home, well appointed, spacious and comfortable. A jewel in the Carlisle crown for anybody looking for a place to stay in the area. The hosts Paul and Cathy make it the complete package, being very friendly and accommodating. The cooked breakfast was the icing on the cake, and being a real 'foodie' can say that it was the best that I've ever been served. In the immortal words of the Governer of California..."I'll be back"! |

What a wonderful break! - from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt like family - not in an overpowering way, just really genuine friendly way. The accomodation was wonderful, food, excellent, location, excellent. Many thanks Cathy and Paul our stay will always bring back happy memories. We would recommend these 2 self contained appartments to anyone and would return most definitely if we were in the region again. |
