The room (No. 10) was not airconditioned. The window opened onto an easily accessible ledge so we had to keep it closed which was inconveneint. Also, this is a non smoking hotel and numerous previous occupants of the hotel had smoked, poking their heads out of the window and depositing a huge quantity of butts in the gutter on the ledge. This did not smell too good. Also the receptionist smoked outside the front door and this smoke found its way up the satirs to room 10 so we could smell it in our room. |

This place is a disgrace!!!! I was informed upon arrival by a duty manager that I was incredibly lucky to get a room at this establishment. I was given a room on the 4th floor and had to negotiate numerous flights of steep stairs. The entire hotel smelt like a pub kitchen. When entering the double room I booked, I found they had managed to force a single bed into this already small room, leaving very little floor space. You had to shuffle sideways past the double bed. YOU COULD NOT SEE THE TV FROM THE BED.....would be Ok if you enjoyed watching TV standing upright!!!! I could not find the TV remote and was informed after making a trip downstairs that these are available upon producing a £10 refundable deposit....fine!!! THE HOTEL IS ACROSS THE ROAD FROM A YOUTH HOSTEL......DRUNKEN NOISE UNTIL 03H15 IN THE MORNING!!!!!!! NO HOT WATER EVEN AFTER RUNNING THE SHOWER FOR 10 MINUTES......THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF.....DO NOT GO NEAR IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Nice clean hotel ideal if visiting Earls Court. Rooms are small but do have an unusual feature of having a microwave/fridge/sink in a built in cupboard. |
