We knew it was the Village Inn, so realised it would probably be the local pub, and it was. However, when staying in what is called a superior room you would expect not to be directly above the pub and main entrance. The bar closed at 12.45am and the noise stopped around 1.15am. We are not begruding the locals fun, but we would have thought a superior room might be in a slightly quieter location. The room was nice and warm, but too warm for the summer with the radiators blowing full in the young hours of the morning. |

We have stayed previously in this hotel and would certainly do so again. A definite advantage as well now to have wi fi in the hotel. It would have been very useful though to have been able to use the laptop in our room instead of having to use it in the bar. The singer was very good as well on the night we stayed. |

Being an Inn there was a lot of noise at night so I wouldn't particularly recommend it for young children. However, it is a lovely old pub with a great beer garden overlooking the Loch and the restaurant was very good too. The room was spotless and although the furnishings are old there was a fantastic shower in the bathroom. Very nice, friendly place to stay. |

The room was really comfortable, fantastic big bath, four poster bed, lochside view and the food in the restaurant was excellent. When we were there the hotel was quite quiet but the restaurant was really busy which was a good indication that local people rate it highly. We will definately go back. |
