Not at the centre of things and transport strike at time didn't help. Smoking and non-smoking floors. Fairly basic accomodation, but plumbing and lights worked. Staff helpful and willing to make an effort. The highlight was the in-house bistro with authentic provincial French cuisine and reasonably priced wine list. This was a good place to get away from the international tour groups that semed to throng (along with their luggage) the public areas. |

As other reviews state, it is a basic hotel. The rooms are functional. You wouldn't want to stay here for the hotel room experience. However, it is very reasonably priced, the staff are extremely accommodating. It is perfect for a group who just need a bed for the night. I took a party of 19, booked only 4 days before. We arrived at about 8 pm. but they quickly brought us a lovely dinner with very efficient service. The dining room and the bar and outdoor area are really pleasant; as a group we wanted to socialise together, so weren't bothered by the basic decor of the rooms. Having said that, the beds are perfectly comfortable. It is friendly and ideal for sightseers rather than people in search of pampering. Age group - 18 - 55 |

Nice simple hotel, however, beware of the additional car park fee and when they swipe your credit card upon arrival, they ear mark much more than your hotel bill is likely to be, they then release this money after you have paid. So make sure you have twice your hotel bill available on your card. We found this out and it has caused no end of problems. Apart from that the hotel is very nice, basic but nice. Rooms small but clean. Public areas and rooms need decorating as out of date. Resturant very nice had an excellent meal, very reasonable price 45 euros for two courses and bottle of wine. |
