Got upgraded to an Executive room so that ws a fantastic way to start our London weekend away! Room was fabulous; the coffee machine and microwave are an excellent feature. Bed was very comfy, so if you like firm mattress you're quids in. Bathroom lovely, huge shower and lots of toiletries to mess with! Lovely bathrobes, all very luxurious. Food was fantastic; best smoked fish risotto I've ever tasted and the cajun spiced tuna certainly had a kick! Lovely hotel. Only down side was sometimes the wait for the lifts was lengthy. I think there were several tour groups in at the time, so it was always pretty hectic around reception and noisy in teh bar area. We were on the 12th floor though so it didn't really matter. One guest decided to smoke in their room and so set off the fire alarm at 3.40m, 5.10am, 6am, 7am and 7.30am. This was VERY annoying, but the hotel staff had him ejected and were very apologetic. Hopefully he's black listed now! |

Excellent standard of accommodation and an ideal location for sight seeing across London. Rooms are well fitted out and the "kitchenette" is a useful touch. All staff were extremely friendly and welcoming particularly to the children. Would definatly recommend and stay there again. |

The hotel was booked for me through my work, and I was in London on business. Prices seemed very high, but I've never stayed in a central London hotel before, so i have no grounds for comparison! Having said that, the service, food, accomodation and cleanliness were very good. My only negative comments are that I had an early morning wake-up call that I didn't ask for, and the English comprehension of some of the staff could have been better. All in all though, a very pleasant stay, and a hotel I would be happy to recommend or stay in again. |

Lovely Hotel. Very Central. Rooms were first class, with a small kitchen area. Would recommend this hotel to our friends and would definitely stay there again. Did not eat at the hotel, but the restaurant looked good and maybe would eat there in the future. The bedding was of a very good quality and the rooms were soundproofed, even though we were overlooking Waterloo Station, didn't hear the trains at all. We had our granddaughters with us and the lounge area was used for them on the sofa bed. They loved the room, especially the widescreen television and the computer. (Well Done to the Park Plaza)!!!! |

location was great for the South Bank-disappointed with breakfast-waiting for coffee to come to the table etc-also 2 of the 3(Willy Wonka type glass lifts) lifts were out of order- when we were omn 13th floor and in a busy hotel at the weekend-not funny- walked 13 flights with 2 kids rather than wait 20 mins for the lift! |
