Slightly hard to find. Lots of car parking available. Very friendly staff.

Easy to find. Plenty of parking. Rooms are in an annex to the pub so have separate access. Only downsides were a noisy fan at the back of the pub near the rooms (not good if you're a light sleeper) and couldn't find anybody to hand the key to in the morning or pay the bill ! - Clearly the latter wasn't a problem as my credit card was deducted and a receipt was promptly sent through the post.

I was initially very impressed with the value for money and location and setting of this hotel. the rooms were nice, fine for one night.
The problems started when we tried to use the shower facillities, no matter how many times we fiddled about with the dial the only two temperatures we could get was freezing cold or scolding hot, there wasno hot water from the taps so a wash in the sink was out of the question in the end we had to boil the kettle to get hot water and wash as best as possible in the sink. Not a great way to start a romantic night on the town to celebrate my boyfriends birthday.
We wanted to complain right away but had taken so long trying to wash our taxi was outside ready to take us to town so we planned to bring it up in the morning.
When we went to leave the next day we could not get into the pub and there was no sign of any staff, we bumped into another couple staying who said they had been up for about an hour and there was no sign of any one so they left their key in the door, we reluctantly did the same but had to be on our way.
