Hydro Hotel

hotel was fine for my business needs

I found the food at breakfast plentiful, although I found the fruit, prunes ,grapefruit and oranges remained the same over the two days we had breakfast.I would have liked a different selection, rather than the same both days.
We had a meal at night in the hotel that was very good. However, the service was too quick from one course to the next. Being a five course meal I would have liked a gap between serving rather than one after the other.
The swimming pool was very cold the day we had a dip.It would have been better if the water was warmed up to a reasonable temperature.
Overall our bedroom was nice,the staff friendly and pleasant and I would stay at this hotel again but maybe not go swimming.

In a perfect position just above the town - 5 mins walking although the hill back up may be a bit steep, depending on what you've eaten/drunk!!
Pity there's no internet access in the rooms.
Room 6 had excellent viws over the town to the lake - the view across when we woke up to sunshine in the morning was just perfect.

this hotel was well worth the money we paid.the food was good the room was nice clean and spacious.the spa was very good and the staff very friendly and helpful.the hotels is in the ideal position to visit all the local attractions and is near all the local shops bars and resturants.the hotel has lots of parking spaces so you dont have to worry about parking.
