Directions to Miltown House B&B
Miltown House lies just off the A941 near Dufftown, Moray. From Aberdeen follow to Alford, Bridge of Alford and then Lumsden. At Lumsden continue through the village and on for about 1 mile. At the foot of a steep hill with a sharp right turn over a narrow bridge you will see a road off to your left signed B9002. Turn onto this road and follow it for approximately 5 miles to a ‘T’ junction. At this ‘T’ junction turn left towards The Cabrach and Dufftown. Continue for approximately 4 miles when you will pass The Grouse Inn. Continue on for about half a mile before turning right onto an unmarked road or, if you miss this road, turn right at the next road just over the narrow bridge at Bridgend, marked for Cabrach Church and Cabrach School. Continue on either road until you reach a ‘Y’ junction and then straight on for a few yards when you will see the B&B signs for Miltown which lies to your right . From Inverness (or alternative Aberdeen route) follow the A 96 to Huntly. At Huntly turn off the A96 onto the A920 Dufftown road (oppositeTesco) and remain on this road for approximately 9 miles. Turn left at the top of a hill onto the road signed for Haugh of Glass. Follow this road until you arrive at a staggered cross roads with war memorial. Turn left here and follow for approx. 5 miles or so. At the bottom of a long hill you will see an unmarked road to your left. Go past this road and just after it you will arrive to a warm welcome at Miltown House on your left.

An absolutely fantastic family run B & B. We were looked after and felt at home from the moment we arrived. Beautiful setting and surrounded by the best whisky distilleries in the world, who could ask for anything more. Visitors must catch the falconry centre and travel along the Banffshire coast. |
