Our room was quite small but the bathroom was modern and clean, although the towels were very old and worn. The room was ok although a bit on the small side and didn't have a nice outlook but we mostly used it just to sleep in so it didn't matter. It did have a flat screen tv. What let the hotel down was the reception staff. We arrived at 1.00 pm and check in is at 2.00 pm but they didn't offer to see if the room was ready so we left our bag and went for lunch. It would have been a nice gesture as we had been travelling since very early that morning. The male receptionist did not greet us or welcome us or smile and I felt rather uncomfortable. He was exactly the same throughout our stay - and would benefit from some training in customer service as a smile goes a long way. Breakfast was 20 euros per couple but we stayed room only and had a great breakfast in a lovely little cafe just around the corner for 8 euros for both of us. The staff in the cafe were extremely friendly. The hotel is about ten to fifteen minutes walk from La Rambla and this meant it was quiet at night and we got a good night's sleep. This is a pleasant enough hotel and the location is quiet in a nice area - if the receptionist had been friendly it would have made a big difference.

Great location, just a short walk to La Rambla and close to lots of restaurants. Staff were incredibly helpful and nice. Would definately stay here again!

This hotel was basic and clean, but satisfactory for the one night. There was a lot of noise from pipes when people in ajoining rooms ran the shower, as they were not doing this all night it wasn't too much of a problem. With this hotel being about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Barcelona it wasn't to noisey. We were able to leave our bags at reception to collect later, which was very helpful. The stop for the AeroBus A1 was a short walk away.
