I booked into this hotel for two nights but had such a poor experience I left after one night. It took a long time to get served when I arrived and on entering my bedroom I was disgusted to find the previous occupants dirty socks under my bed. The leisure facilities were not available due to a "technical" problem that was never expanded on. The hotels website and even internal hotel publication advertised free Wi-Fi access in public areas of the hotel but this does not exist. When I complained I was told it had changed and the hotel had fallen in line with its overseas owner! Finally I was left disappointed by the choice offered for breakfast. Despite the hotel giving me a 10% discount and agreeing to cutting my stay short without penalty I would not stay there again. |

Hotel was good - very clean and well presented. The price tag of £155 for a room is rather expensive considering it's like any other hotel I have been to. The only disappontment was witht he restaurant. Food was nice, but very small portions. The £17.50 price tag for 2 courses was expensive considering the fancy chicken with a selction of fresh vegetables dish that I ordered turned out to be chicken with 2 spoonfuls of mashed spud, 2 small pieces of broccoli and gravy.... |

All the staff that we met were very good at what they do, especially including reception, dinner service, breakfast service, bar sevice. All the food was fresh, high quality, and presented to a very high standard. |
