We booked the hotel at the last minute, and it was one of few left in Oxford that could be booked for one night only which made it very convenient. Our room was very large and spacious, and was very clean and tidy. The bathroom was newly refurbished and very appealing although the water pressure in the shower was too weak. All in all room was very good for the price. |

The hotel was very conveniently situated, within walking distance from the city centre. The food was to a high standard and the restaurant staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was well appointed and the beds were very comfortable. |

The website states it's 'minutes' walk from the centre of Oxford but it took us over 30 mins to walk in. Room was lovely, big, modern & clean but breakfast was a disaster, noone laid a table out for us, we had to clear our own table and all the hot food had run out so we ate bread rolls and cheese. By the time they replenished the food it was almost 30 minutes after we had arrived and we needed to get going. Noone apologised or even seemd to notice that many guests went without a hot breakfast. Nice hotel other than that! |

loved hotel, but would recomend guests leave plenty of time for breakfast!!! food was excellent, but the staff were not atentive with regards to food running out, it was all very disorganised. If you had eggs, there was no bacon, if there was bread there was no butter and so on. The staff just needed to be more observant, you could see everybody was getting very annoyed, and started complaining, the staff then were running round like headless chickens. |
