Small hotel in own grounds. I booked a luxury room which looked very ordinary to me. Dining room a bright and airy. Good food, well served. Watch out for extras, 12.5% sevice charge plus £5 fuel surcharge. |

We had the most amazing weekend here in November 2007. The owners are real hands-on managers, and their high standards are evident everywhere in the hotel. Although it's a small country-house hotel, at all times we felt welcome and at ease. All the staff could not have been more helpful. The location (in the middle of the Cairngorms National Park) is unsurpassed. The food is some of the best I've ever had in a hotel. We ate dinner and breakfast there both nights, and we didn't want to come home! If you're looking for a get-away-from-it-all break try here - you won't regret it! |
