    I found the hotel receptionist exceptionally helpful, cheerful and friendly. The room, although basic, was clean and comfortable. The fridge was a useful feature. I was surprised to find such good value for money in the heart of the city. My one night stay on this occasion was for business but, should I return to Paris as a tourist, this would form a perfect base for my stay. I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

    Though the hotel recepiotn was very smart, the room was very poor. The bathroom tiles were broken all around the shower, the shower did not work properly, the plumbing was noisy and the wallpaper was coming away from the walls. The room was very dark, cheaply furnished and depressing. The walls were very thin so I was kept awake by the TV in the room next to me one way and the person snoring in the room on the other side. I have stayed in many hotel in Paris of similar size and price and have no hesitation in saying that this was the worst by far.

    Room was on a very noisy road: hardly slept at all. There was a really helpful receptionist.
