Really good hotel, clean, friendly, slightly tatty lobby carpet but not the end of the world. Staff were attentive and professional. I also had the tempura battered vegetables, mmmmm delicious. Altogether a nice couple of days and nights. No complaints here.

A shabby tired hotel that if I had had to pay anymore than the cheap rate of £49 per night for I would have refused to do so (advertised rate in reception of £99 was ridiculous). 1st room was boiling hot, cob webs from ceiling to lamp - clearly no attempt to clean properly, bathroom shabby and not very clean at all. 2nd room (after complaining) not much better - minus cob webs. Sheets although clean, old and with a rather musty smell, bathroom as first. By this point so tired and fed up we needed to sleep. Ordered room service - 2 sandwiches £10.50 which arrived, thing pasty bread, hardly any filing wrapped in cling film in a brown paper bag, not even my children would have these in their lunch box. £10.50!!!!!!!
Plus side, brand spanking new TVs in each room, I suggest maybe some of that money could have gone towards staff training and more cleaners.
Shocking hotel

Really need to sort out the floor boards on the second floor. You could hear everyone coming up and down the hall way.
