Really good hotel, clean, friendly, slightly tatty lobby carpet but not the end of the world. Staff were attentive and professional. I also had the tempura battered vegetables, mmmmm delicious. Altogether a nice couple of days and nights. No complaints here. |

A shabby tired hotel that if I had had to pay anymore than the cheap rate of £49 per night for I would have refused to do so (advertised rate in reception of £99 was ridiculous). 1st room was boiling hot, cob webs from ceiling to lamp - clearly no attempt to clean properly, bathroom shabby and not very clean at all. 2nd room (after complaining) not much better - minus cob webs. Sheets although clean, old and with a rather musty smell, bathroom as first. By this point so tired and fed up we needed to sleep. Ordered room service - 2 sandwiches £10.50 which arrived, thing pasty bread, hardly any filing wrapped in cling film in a brown paper bag, not even my children would have these in their lunch box. £10.50!!!!!!! |

Really need to sort out the floor boards on the second floor. You could hear everyone coming up and down the hall way. |
