Taynuilt Hotel

, Taynuilt

Once a historic Coaching Inn, Taynuilt Hotel now has all the modern amenities of a comfortable Highland Inn.
All our rooms are well equipped; unmistakingly Scottish in style and each one unique in it’s own way. For those special occasions we also have our Four Poster room.
Our Chefs use the freshest ingredients from the West Coast of Scotland to create our extensive menus which will stir your taste buds and warm your heart. Our well chosen wine list has the perfect accompaniment for your meal and you have the choice of two eating areas – the cosy Lounge Bar or the Restaurant.
All great traditional inns, in Scotland have great ‘pubs’, and Taynuilt Hotel is no exception, with a delightful traditional country pub atmosphere in our ground floor bar just to the right of the entrance to the hotel so hard to miss it.
Here you will find a great selection of Scottish malt whiskies, local real ale and a well stocked bar as well as a roaring log fire.
If you can possibly spirit yourself away from an open fire and the large selection of Malt Whiskies, there are many exciting outdoor activities and fascinating places to visit. Oban, Inveraray and Glencoe are all within easy reach. Local outdoor activities on offer include fishing, sailing, horse riding, cycling, golf and bird watching. There are excellent coastal, forest and hill walks within easy reach. A trip to the islands is always a favourite too.
We have seasonal offers available throughout the year, so why not take a well earned break, relax and restore “body and soul” with a trip to Taynuilt Hotel.

The hotel was very nice though the decor in certain area's could do with a little improvement. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The room was very nice , the food was excellent and the location was charming and very quiet.

We booked this hotel for a 2 night break and from theminute we arrived to our departure we could not find fault at all. All the staff were really friendly and made us feel most wlecome. Even lending us glasses from the bar to have a bottle of champagne in our rooms before our meal. Definately will be back. Thank you.

Pleasant enough hotel but nothing special. Seemed a bit disorganised in the evening and would recommend booking a table if want to eat in the evening.
