Kilcamb provides an unmatchable tranquility both in surroundings and service. From the minute you walk through the door into the warmth of the log-fired sitting room your every need is catered for without being condescending. Although our room only had a side view we were still able to admire the setting on the loch. Yes, the evening meal is expensive but you are taken on a gastronomic journey from the canapes to the petites fours; with each of the seven courses providing a 'wow' factor. |

We stayed here recently on the weekend of 19th Sept 2008. The place is fantastic, the setting incredible, the views amazing. We stayed in Room 12, an attic conversion, with sitting area, though not for the tallest of guest this room is lovely with good views out over Loch Sunart. The food is first class, the staff friendly and helpful, if you want breathtaking scenery, comfortable and quiet accomodation and superb food then don't miss out on this little hidden treasure! Don't forget suitable evening attire as jeans aren't allowed!! |

We really enjoyed the hotel but was very misinformed as to where the hotel was. It is not near Fort William by our standards, it being aprx.12 miles and a ferry crossing to get from the hotel to Fort William. |

Beautifully situated hotel. Did not stay for dinner - only because £48 per head is too expensive for us. Although I did speak to the other guests and they thought the meal was of exceptional standard. I know other guests thought the same - if the hotel reviewed the price we would have stayed for dinner. I would not have liked to have paid more than £100 for our room - quite small. Although view was of garden and side view of loch. |
