From the Südbahnhof (future Main Train Station) - Follow track 18 to the upper level toward the U1 line (ca. 100m) - Take the U1 line one stop toward Reumannplatz, get off at the stop Keplerplatz and leave the station via the exit Raaber-Bahn-Gasse.     We stayed in a triple room and it was ideal. It was very clean and was well maintained. The location is ideal as it is only 2mins from the metro station which allows you to get around Vienna very easily. We would definately stay there again.

    Our experience of the Meininger hostel Vienna was more akin to being in a hostel than a hotel.
    The room was nicely decorated with IKEA-style furniture but lacked character- a minor issue.
    More important was the lack of comfort. A fairly solid mattress and a particularly pathetic pillow made for a poor night's sleep. As regards breakfast, I'd recommend finding a cafe as the 'buffet' offered by the hotel (3.50) merely entitles you to a few rolls, jam, cereal, coffee, nothing exciting. Overall, though perfectly adequate, the Meiinger offered little 'extra' and we spent our next two nights at a cheaper and more luxurious hotel nearer the centre.

    This hotel was very good and staff very helpful. The only down is the laundry takes all day to dry clothes, otherwise our stay was great, close to supermarket and metro stop.
