ABBA MONTPARNASSE HOTEL

I was disappointed with the way that the manager of the hotel dealt with the incident involving a broken picture frame which i bought in Paris.
I left it with the concierge when i checked out and before i left for the train back to London. When i asked for my bags and picture frame, the glass was broken, even though the frame was carefully bubble wrapped.
The manager promised that he would look into it for me, would check hotel insurance company and would get back to me the following week. Two weeks later after two emails and several phone calls later, still not had a response from him or the hotel.
I would certainly not recommend this hotel.

Really nice hotel, excellent friendly staff (spoke excellent English), great metro links, clean, great part of town. would stay again.

In a fairly busy area but not in the most touristy area which is quite nice. Close to one main metro station (montparnasse) which links to many lines, another metro even closer on the line to visit Eiffel tower. Hotel very modern, nice decor, although no iron available but trouser press in room. Easy access to main tourist attractions, about 30mins walk to Tower. About an hour and 20mins from hotel to CDG airport, via metro and RER, costs (8.60euro single). Apparently a bus from CDG to Gare du montparnasse station, although we did not work out where this dropped off, worth looking into. We found it to be in a good location ,within easy access to sites. Market on saturdays very close. Luxumberg Gardens worth a visit, pretty and very french especially at the weekend.

Great hotel in a great location. Easy to explore Paris from the location due to a fast frequent metro service two minutes work away.
