The room that we stayed in was very clean and very large. The only downside to this hotel is the decor as it could do with bringing up to date |

This is a lovely place to stay and the staff are friendly and helpfull. A couple of winges, firstly the room was cold and it was a very cold day, so getting warm wasnt easy. There were radiators in the room but they were luke warm and a small oil filled heater which was not enough for a large room. Second winge, the bar. We arrived back around 11.15pm on a Saturday night, which by hotel standards is early in my experience, and the bars were all closed up. When we enquired why the shutter on the bar was, grudgingly openened and we were served. It was promptly closed again making us feel very unwelcome. Overall, a lovely place to stay but take a swaeter and dont expect a late drink, even on a Saturday. |

As a hotel it is too quiet, as a golf club it probably fits the bill. Food good, bar menu too limited, not all travellers want to eat in a restaurant. |
