although the room we booked was a standard room,we expected somthing better for our £80.the decor was very shaby and old fashiond.a chandalier with 1 working bulb,a very rickety bed,the sash window had to be wedged open with a piece of wood, the adjoining door could,nt be locked, light above mirror in the bathroom didnt work ETC........

Bedroom were of high standard however it was a shame the bath room wasn't up to the same high standards - Sink & toilet seat were cracked and water flow of the shower was irregular to say the least. Didn't make breakfast in the morning so can't comment on the food.
Overall not bad, wouldnt be worth the £120 a nite which the hotel charges normally - paid £80 on late rooms which was acceptable.

The hotel was easy to get in and it is really in a very good location, very close to the Riviera centre and the beach.
However the state of the hotel is a bit different from the "sparkling" pictures on the hotel own website… Though, I must say, very clean all over the complex, the facilities looked a bit out dated and could do with some make up and refurbishment.
Nevertheless at the arrival we were pleased to be listed all the facilities free for guests such as: indoor swimming pool, sauna, gym etc.. The gym equipment is quite new but the room is a tiny, and the conditioning system consists only of an open window. Plus Forget any water dispenser or tap-water.. you might attempt to get one from the bar, as I did, but then should be lucky enough to catch the bar staff around the site! The sauna works occasionally if staff remembers to switch it on the guests request. The indoor swimming pool looked lovely from the outside, but disappointedly we could not access it, as it seemed to be permanently in a phantom maintenance all over the weekend.
None of the restaurants was open for lunch on the Saturday, just the bar, whose service (once the staff appeared) was a bit slow. But for dinner we were lucky enough to be booked into the Raclette’s restaurant that we were eager to experiment! Well once there for the late booking, forget the hot stones that apparently the chef had hidden somewhere..Forget also what’s on the menu.. Why give guests for example the promised continental cheese when handful of cheddar is available? Well maybe because was on the menu. Or why bother to cook a medium steak?
On the plus side, even if costumer care is quite low standard for most things, there is always some form of entertainment organised at the weekend.
In conclusion, even if we paid the offer price of £80 per night, it was a bit of a disappointing experience and at present, I would not certainly recommend it on full price (£140 per room per night).
