County Hotel

Harden Park, Alderley Edge

The County Hotel is located less then a mile from the famous Alderley Edge Village, with it' high class wine bars, restaurants and boutiques. Alderley Edge boasts senic walks and views across the cheshire plains and is a well loved beauty spot.
Local attractions included Manchester City Cantre and the Trafford Centre. For family attractions, Jodrell Back Science Park is just 5 miles away and Alton towers is only a 45 minute drive away.
The County Hotel is a calming escape from the world outside. Our 13 comfortable en-suite double, twin or family rooms are are fitted and furnished to ensure your relaxation and comfort. All rooms are fully equipped with bath/shower, hairdrier, television and tea/coffee making facilities . Iron facilities available on request.
We are proud of our reputation for serving good quality, value for money food, all day. Our menu offers a vairied choice along with a full childrens menu. We Serve a good selection of draught beers, bitters and spirits. We have a full wine list which can be enjoyed by the bottle or by the glass. A range of soft drinks and beverages are also available.
We have a Wacky Warehouse housed at the rear of the building with it's own private entrance, for children aged 0 and 8. Tot time is run throughout term time from 9.30am until 3pm with supervised activities 10.30 am untill 3pm. (Please note hight restictions and entry fees apply)
The County hotel is proud to be a non smoking esablishment, with all our bedrooms being non-smoking.

Directions to County Hotel

The County Hotel is easily accessible from the M60 and M6 motorways and is only six miles from Manchester airport and half a mile from Alderley Edge railway station. From the M60, exit at jn3/4 and follow the A34 south past Wilmslow to Alderley Edge. At the end of the dual carriageway, bear left into Alderley Edge and after a quarter of a mile the County Hotel will be found on the left. From the M6 JN 18, take the A535 through Holmes Chapel and continue to Alderley Edge,where you should bear left at the T junction opposite the railway station. Leave the village in the direction of wilmslow and the County Hotel will be found on the right hand side.

This hotel was fantastic for Manchester airport, a real little find! Big rooms, plenty of parking and real value for money. Will definitely use this hotel again. +++++++++++++++

I had no cutains in my hotel room - they had fallen down and were left on top of the wardrobe. i reported this to staff 3 times who said they would fix it. On checking out there wasnt anyone on the desk (and checking in for that matter). I spoke to the guy on the bar who laughed at me when i said i wanted to make a complaint.
Terrible hotel and terrible service. Do NOT stay here.

On arrival, extremely loud music in reception/bar area. Unable to gain access to room at night as outside key dot not open door. Unable to obtain breakfast on Sunday morning, as no staff to be found.
