I have stayed at this hotel several times and in my experience their single rooms fall far short of the standard shown on their website. The rooms tend to be at the back of the hotel, overlooking a row of derelict buildings. On this occasion it was therefore something of a treat to at least have a room at the side of the hotel which enabled me to see the sea, although the room itself was a little tired. You also had to be reasonably slim in order to use the loo with any degree of comfort, and the shower had 'character'! Guests need to be aware that parking at The Langham is not easy at any time of year. Free parking is available, if you are lucky, in one of the nearby residential roads - otherwise you have to pay from 08:00 until 18:30. |

My room was ok but others complained that their twin room was below par. Early morning breakfast was poor, slow service and cold food. Reception service was ok but lacked warmth! |

My Room was very clean and comfortable although maybe not to the standard shown on the website- I felt that some rooms may be better than others. The breakfast and restaurant were lovely as was the bar area and cream tea! Definately value for money. Situated on the beachfront and near enough to the pier and the town centre. Suggest a trip on the sightseeing bus to get your bearings whilst in Eastbourne. |
