While the room was nice and spacious with 2 very comfortable beds and loads of soft pillows, it was surprisingly dusty in places. |

We frequently stay in Mariiot hotels and have stayed at this Marriot several times. This hotel is a 4star hotel yet they serve concentrate juice for breakfast, wall's pre-frozen cheap sausages, hard pastries and cheap coffee. I have stayed in other chains and as always with a 4star you expect what you would have at home - fresh juice, fresh pastries, decent bread and coffee. I could have paid £5 for breakfast at McDonalds and eaten better eggs. The breakfast is £15 which is a lot for 'value' food. |

Nice hotel with good facilities. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Near Newcastle, easy to get to and right beside the Metrocentre. Great for a weekend break. |

This was the first time our family had stayed at the hotel and I cannot speak too highly of the hotel and also the staff, each and everyone of them were excellent at their jobs, especially the restaurant staff, who were extremely helpful and friendly. We dined in the Rare restaurant which was excellent for value and the food was really good. The hotel was so handy for the Metro Shopping centre, only a few minutes walk away from it. All in all, we had a wonderful few days at the Marriott and hope to return. I would recommend it to anyone. |

Have stayed here many many times and as ever a welcoming place to stay. Very friendly staff, good food although becoming very expensive. Highly recommended. Didnt use the leisure facilities this time but usually do and although the steam/sauna are a bit small the pool has a good feeling about it as the tiles are dark and makes for an unusual swimming experience. |
