Directions to The Montenotte Hotel
From City Centre From Patrick's Street in the City Centre cross Patrick's Bridge and travel along Mc Curtain Street. At the lights take a left turn up Summerhill North to St. Luke’s Cross, at the St. Luke’s Cross junction turn right to proceed along the Middle Glanmire Road. The Montenotte Hotel is on your right just after the first bend in the road. From Dublin and Rosslare/Waterford When you arrive at the Jack Lynch Tunnel Roundabout follow the signage for the City Centre, through the next roundabout (Dunkettle Roundabout) and then onto the Lower Glamire Road (Dual Carriageway). Take a left off the dual carraigeway onto the slip road for the Siver Springs exit which will take you up to the Tivoli Flyover. At this junction take a right turn and travel up the Silver Spring Lane hill until you come to the set of traffic lights. At this junction take a left turn and then take the next left turn, this will bring you on to Middle Glamire Road. Continue down this road until you come to the Montenotte Hotel on your left. From Killarney/West Cork At the Bandon Road Roundabout in Cork follow the signage for the Dublin which will take you to the Jack Lynch Tunnel. After going through the Jack Lynch Tunnel follow signage for City Centre. Take a left off the dual carraigeway onto the slip road for the Siver Springs exit which will take you up to the Tivoli Flyover. At this junction take a right turn and travel up the Silver Spring Lane hill until you come to the set of traffic lights. At this junction take a left turn and then take the next left turn, this will bring you on to Middle Glamire Road. Continue down this road until you come to the Montenotte Hotel on your left.

I think the only negative point with the hotel is its location. Although it s not very far from the city center, it can still be a long way when you're on foot with suitcases! (You obviously still can take a taxi). Buses nevertheless stop at the bottom of the (steep) hotel street. Then expect a good 8 to 10 mns up to the hotel. |

A very good hotel, I get a room for only £35 a noght per person. There were 7 of us travelled to the hotel, and everyone found the eperience very enjoyable. The rooms were excellent, and the general setting very good. We got the use of the hotels leisure facilities such as the pool and the sauna etc, which were tremendous. |

The Montenotte Hotel is not in the heart of Cork but we had a hire car. The room was very comfortable. |
