Room & ensuite spotless. Very comfortable. A fantastic little hideaway for a relaxed comfortable night away from home. |

Surprisingly good. The staff were very friendly, the food is excellent and the location is perfect. The breakfast in the old pullman carriage is an excellent touch and if you want a night cap the hot chocolate with marshmallows is unmissable. The bar & restaurant has a wide variety of snacks & meals and a nice beer & wine selection for ale lovers. The rooms were fairly small but had everything you'd need. The one minus point I'd give was the curtains that had been removed from one window meaning a lack of privacy to one side of the room but given all the other pluses, this was a minor detail. Highly recommended. |

Friendly staff and rooms quite well presented. Food good in the evening, but limited choice of breakfast for those not wanting cooked. The single room was comfortable and the shower excellent, however the ensuite was tiny overall. Improvements to bedroom light would be appreciated to ease working at desk. |
