Nice place. Very clean. Easy walk to the town centre / sea front. bonus of a car park though this is small, & requires some care when parking. Only a few hundred yards from the Orme tram.

The hotel was lovely, very comfortable and clean, breakfast was delicious! very spacious room with en-suite bathroom which was spotless. Hotel is in a really good location, very near to town centre. The only thing I would change would be to re-locate the TV in the room, it was above the bed so you couldn't lie in bed and watch TV!

Nice hotel - spacious room and really good breakfast. Also a good location, being near to the town centre, the Great Orme and the sea front.

We arrived and the room was clean and reasonably furnished. The town centre was within walking distance and we went out for a meal returning at 10.30pm. When we returned to the room it was very cold and the heating was not working. We attempted to get the heating to come on to no avail. It was so cold we made a decision to ring the emergency number that was displayed in the room but the mobile was turned off. I then rang the main phone number but there was no answer. It became so cold that my colleague slept in her fleece!
I the morning I proceeded to inform the owner of the issue with the heating. She was exceptionally rude and told me the heating was working. I told to go to our room and look as the room was freezing and the windows were dripping with condensation. It had also took over 25 minutes to get the hot water to come on. I told her I had rang her at 10.35pm to inform her and she told me I hadn't as she hadn't got any calls. I proceeded to show her the calls I had made to her on my mobile. She made my colleague and myself feel as if we were lying about the heating and I told her to go and look for herself if she didn't believe us. She then asked 2 other guests in front of us did they have a problem with their heating. She was from Liverpool and both my colleague and myself are also from Liverpool. She said to me "I thought you would have been friendly because you are from Liverpool" which we found quite bizarre. At breakfast my colleague had a hair in her fried egg. When she showed the owner she proceeded to say it wasn't until she picked it up and on further inspection it proved to be a human hair. She did not apologise but presented as very irritated by us raising issues. After paying she informed me in a very off hand manner that she had checked our room and that the heating was not working and she proceeded to almost shut the door in our faces as soon as we walked off the premises. Needless to say we will not be staying in this guest house again and I would question the 4 star rating (although self certificated). Clearly the proprietors believe their service is significantly better than it actually is!

This is a friendly welcoming small hotel with an excellent hot breakfast served on a hot plate. We stayed in a side facing room but next time i would ask for a front facing room as it is up a small incline the views over the town of Llandundo are excellent. Trying to find something to comment on that could be improved is not easy but the lack of a power point near to a mirror may be one, my wife does like to dry her hair in the mirror. Was easy to find as this is a small town and it is at the base of the only hill in town (Great Orme) you will never get lost. If i am in North Wales again i would definately use this hotel again.
