Staff were great, I think their hospitality and friendliness really made our trip worth while. It was pretty cool being woken by the sounds of sheeps baa-ing. A machine running the I outside the hotel didn't cause too many problems as it was switched on at 8am and switched off at 10.30pm causing minimal disturbance. The room was a bit cosy but very clean and functional. The only complaint I have was that the TV only had 3 channels so not even the basic channels, but who needs BBC2 and Ch5, really? Other towns not too far from the Inn, and FANTASTIC view from the outside of the hotel, great spot to go off and see a few countryside wildlife. All in all, a delightful stay for me and my boyfriend. |

Set in a lovely quiet country location ideal for visiting the lakes. The hotel was good value for money, though the bar food and I suspect even more so the restaurant food, whilst very good was over priced. The bar are was very pleasant and there was a nice balcony for a warm summers evening. |
