As well as both the Ayrshire and Galloway Hotel and the Meridian they can offer the facilities of Caprice Ayr and Caprice Prestwick. Caprice Ayr has a long and well established reputation within the population of Ayr and surrounding areas, and is fashioned as an art deco style continental brasserie. Caprice Prestwick opened is doors in May 2000 and became an instant success. Following on from its sister outlet in Ayr it has a bright and airy feel to it. This continental style brasserie has proved popular with tourists (Prestwick International Airport is only 5 minutes away) and locals alike.

The hotel is the ideal venue as it is close to airport; Glasgow Prestwick Airport is only 11 minutes away with regular flights to and from Amsterdam, Bournemouth, Brussels, Budapest, Dublin, Frankfurt, London and Rome; rail and bus links from Glasgow, Edinburgh and further a field. It is also easily accessible and only approximately 50 minutes from Glasgow via the new M77 motorway which feeds traffic from all areas surrounding Ayr. Follow the A77 till the Whitletts roundabout and follow signs for town centre. We are situated in the heart of Ayr town centre.Troon harbour is 12 minutes away with ferries running to and from Ireland. We are a 1 minute walk from Ayr Railway station. We have a small private car park for our guests use. When it is full there are many NCP carparks within easy distance of our hotel.

Quick and easy check in. I had an early start the following morning so was able to pay up front and even arranged a light breakfast for 6am, which was not expected!

an absolute gem of a hotel, friendly and spotless with very good staff,well situated with ample car parking. i suppose breakfast could have been a bit better but im only nit picking. we will definately return
