Turton Golf Club

One of the North Westï¾’s premier 18-hole golf courses, Turton Golf Club, which hosted the Bolton Championship in 2003, combines a mixture of moorland and parkland holes to provide a magnificent true test of golf. The scenery from around the course is exceptional with breathtaking views across many counties. The course is kept open all year except in the most extreme weather conditions.

The Club, which was founded in 1908, has always been renowned for its friendliness and members and visitors alike receive a warm Lancashire welcome in the traditional old clubhouse.

The course measures 6,124 yards from the white tees for a par of 70, including four par 3s and 2 par 5s. The par 3s in particular are challenging, as is the 523-yard fourteenth ï¾– the longest hole on the course and stroke index 1.

Play the course then enjoy a relaxing drink or bite to eat in the fully equipped clubhouse. Full buggy service is available from the Pro shop as well as an extensive range of golfing items, practice areas and services. Golfing Societies and other parties are most welcome, and golfing days can also be booked.
