No joining fee!

miniBreaks operates on a commission basis, ensuring that you only pay for business received. The base commission rate is 15% on the total room rate plus VAT.

miniBreaks pride itself on operating a flexible system giving the hotelier complete control over rates and availability. Properties can choose to sell their available inventory at a rate to match availability via freesale or flexible allocation or a combination of the two.

Freesale

If you opt to sell rooms on a freesale basis we will continue to sell rooms at the rate you have advertised until you close out availability

Flexible Allocation

This method gives you the most control. You are able to allocate a number of rooms available to sell via miniBreaks for any given date. This is completely flexible therefore you can amend the allocation at any time. If the allocation reaches zero we will telephone you with customer enquiries but your property will not be available to book online. Therefore it is recommended that you allocate as many rooms as possible for each date.

Please note:
Only hotels working with miniBreaks on either freesale or allocation will be available for customers to book online. Currently over 60% of our reservations are made online.

All reservations are sent through to the hotel by both e-mail and fax.

A summary of both invoiced and non-invoiced reservations is available online via the miniBreaks extranet and can be accessed at any time.

Commission invoices are raised and dispatched monthly with payment terms of 30 days.
